Graham Onions

A brisk seam bowler who hits the pitch hard and a more than capable lower-order batsman, Onions really caught the eye with some impressive performances during the 2006 first class season and did enough to earn a place in England's provisional 30-man squad for the ICC Champions Trophy.

He has maintained an impressive workload for Durham and hasn't just taken wickets on helpful surfaces at Chester-le-Street, as his career best at Lord’s shows. Graham was called up to replace Darren Gough in England's one-day squad for the remaining three one-dayers against Pakistan in September and was named in the 2006 National Academy winter squad.
