Stewart Walters

Stewart is a top order batsman who has got his chance to play for the Surrey first team after consistent performances for the second eleven scoring 1036 runs in 2006, with three centuries and a high score of 184 not out. He is expected to establish himself in the First XI this season and is set to play a major part in the future of Surrey CCC.

During the winter, Stewart plays club cricket in Australia for Midland Guildford, the same team for whom the former Surrey and England wicket-keeper Alec Stewart played. He has also captained Western Australia under-17.
